I love indigo

A super soft triangular shawl combining multi-directional construction, garter stitch, mitred squares and I-cord knitting skills.

Add to this the superbly soft Merinos d’Arles wool, traceable to a small flock living in the French Alpes and the use of indigo and madder dyes and you have an interesting knitting experience and a shawl combining the artisan skills of shepherdess, natural plant dyer, designer and don’t forget yourself.

This shawl is knitted with circular needles of 4 mm / US6, 80cm. 

Intermediate level :

Crochet cast on, multi-directional construction, garter stitch and I-cord.
