Roman de la rose socks kit

These original fair isle socks were designed for our organic Poll Dorset, by Australian designer Kate Wallace. Kate also created a matching tam.

These socks are knitted with circular or double pointed needles:

~ 2.75mm/US2

Intermediate level :

The socks are worked in one piece, from the ankle to the toes, using two and sometimes three colors per row. This pattern requires knowing how to read a chart and knowing how to knit in jacquard.
